Out of the 22 student-teams that participated in the software edition of the Smart India Hackathon held in Coimbatore, 5 have emerged the winners.


The winning teams include Team Elite, Team Rookies, Team Skale Devs, Team A2F, and Team Nerd JS.
The Hackathon was held in Coimbatore at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology (KPRIET), which was one of the 75 nodal centers to conduct this grand event.


It was jointly organized by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation cell, AICTE, Persistent systems and i4c, and featured 36 hours of coding, through which student-teams from various institutions developed programs as solutions to their respective problem statements.


KPRIET hosted various teams of students across the country for this event, and its inauguration began on August 25. Nithyanandan Devaraj, CEO of Flow Link Systems Private Limited, Coimbatore did the inauguration in the presence of Pratap Sanap, Nodal Centre Head- SIH 2022, Prof.Chandrasekhar Dubey, VC, KR Mangalam University, Ravi Kumar, Nodal Centre In-charge, Head, CIIED, KPRIET.


The 36 hour coding came to an end on August 26th and the winners were announced by Ravi Kumar, Nodal Centre Incharge, Head, CIIED, KPRIET.


M.Akila, Principal, KPRIET, appreciated the participants for sharing their contagious energy. Manu Rahim Aksharam, CTO/Head of Technology, Shanthi Gears Ltd. was the Chief Guest. He congratulated the winners and appreciated all the participants. Prathap Sanap formally rendered his vote of gratitude.
