The College of Pharmacy, Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Paramedical Sciences, Coimbatore in association with Tamil Nadu Pharmacy Council organized one day National seminar recently.

 

The Seminar was held on the theme 'Integrating Knowledge and Practice: Strategies and challenges'.

 

D.Lakshminarayaswamy, Managing trustee, SNR Sons Charitable Trust presided over the function.

 

Dr.M.TamizhMozhi, Registrar, Tamil Nadu Pharmacy Council, Chennai was the chief guest. Dr.K.P. Arun, Professor, Dept. of Pharmacy Practice, JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty was the Guest of Honour 

 

Dr.T.R.Nandakumar, Consultant and Interventional Cardiologist; Dr.K.Ramadoss, Consultant neurologist; Dr.Suresh Damodharan, Consultant Endocrinologist and Diabetologist; Sri Ramakrishna hospital, Coimbatore were the resource persons.

 

Dr.ShaliniSivadasan, Professor and Head, Dept. of Pharmacy Practice, KMCH College of Pharmacy, Coimbatore; Dr.ManjulaDevi.A.S., Associate Professor, College of Pharmacy, SRIPMS and Dr.Gayathri Govindaraju, Clinical Pharmacist, KMCH were speakers.

 

Speakers gave their insights and expertise knowledge pertaining to the seminar topic. Each session was chaired by principals of various colleges.

 

More than 500 delegates including principals, faculties and students from pharmacy colleges of various states participated in the one-day National seminar.

 

Earlier, Dr.T.K.Ravi, Principal, College of Pharmacy and the convener of the seminar welcomed the gathering. At the end of the event, Dr.M.Gopal Rao, Vice Principal, College of Pharmacy SRIPMS formally rendered the Note of Gratitude.
