The city-based Delving Research and Development today launched its 'DelSmart IoT Meter' which claims to help reduce current consumption and electricity bill for houses, shops, and all categories of consumers.

DelSmart IOT meter is different from existing products as it will monitor and control capacitor failure and inclusion dynamically. It is online and remotely controllable. This smart meter, prepaid and remotely controllable for houses, shops
and all categories of consumers, the Company Founder & CEO R.Chitra said at the product launch here.


By using DelSmart IoT Meter in Industries, current consumption will be reduced, resulting in energy saving and hence reduction in electricity bill; in particular, on implementation of the meter in distribution transformers in the feeders of electrical utilities resulting in reducing energy losses and saving of millions of rupees for the nation,”Chitra said.


The company won 'Smart Startup of the year 2022' Award from India Smart Grid Forum and the product has been selected in Powerthon 2022, conducted by Ministry of Power, Government of India for pilot project execution in Madhya Pradesh Government Electrical Utility.


AV Group of Companies Chairman, AV Varadharajan and Confederation of Indian Textile Industry Chairman, T.Rajkumar launched the product.
