ELGi Equipments, a global leader in air compressor manufacturing partnered with Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore - an esteemed higher education institution to launch Catalyst Scholarship Program, a fully funded initiative designed to support 20 academically outstanding students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Beginning in the 2025-26 academic year, the program will provide top-tier education in Mechanical Engineering and hands-on training, leading to a B.Tech degree and guaranteed career opportunities at ELGi, reinforcing the company's commitment to education, social impact, and industry excellence.

This scholarship program offers Full Financial Support. ELGi Equipments Ltd. will sponsor the entire cost of education, including tuition fees, academic materials, accommodation and boarding on campus, and other essential expenses.

The program integrates core engineering principles with business fundamentals, ensuring graduates are well-rounded and industry-ready. Students will engage in real-world engineering projects and practical training at ELGi, gaining valuable experience before entering the workforce. Upon successful completion, all Catalyst program graduates will secure positions at Elgi Equipments Ltd., ensuring a smooth transition into their professional journey.

Selection & Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must qualify through the Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam (AEEE) and ELGi’s dedicated entrance and aptitude tests. The scholarship is exclusively available for students pursuing B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering at Amrita University, Coimbatore campus. The residential program provides students with a focused and immersive learning environment.
