The first ever concert of music composer, playback singer and actor G.V.Prakash is locked and loaded to be fired this Saturday evening in Coimbatore. 

Titled 'Aayirathil Oruvan', this concert will feature musicians playing live and it will have G.V. Prakash and several other popular playback singers like Swetha Mohan, Harini, Saindhavi Prakash, Tipu, Diwakar, Sathyaprakash, Velmurugan singing close to 45 songs. 

Some of them will be unplugged versions  but all of them can be experienced in a never before felt spectacular manner at the CODISSIA Grounds here. The organizers are taking strenous efforts to make the stage, the audi-visual set up and the amenties totally a class above in this event.

Speaking at the pre-event press & media conference today, G.V.Prakash said that it has been 17 years since he started his career as a composer, and he is nearing his 100th film soon.

He said "I was thinking about doing a concert recently, and many approached me but I liked the confidence shown by Mr.Manikandan (MD, MK Entertainment). He has made sure that this concert will be of high quality and he is putting a lot of efftort to give it a good reach. I am thankful to MK Entertainment. This is my first concert and I am excited to perform for Coimbatore."


G.V.Prakash hinted that celebrities and stars may attend the concert, and actor Arya too has said he will join but asked all to keep their fingers crossed. 


Manikandan MD, MK Entertainment said "G.V.Prakash has given his first concert to us and we thank him on behalf of Coimbatore. Preparatory works are going on at CODISSIA Grounds for the last 7 days. The sounds and visuals will be on an outstanding level. There will be no compromise on quality on anything at the event. 25000 people are expected to attend this event."
