Southern Railways announced on Friday that in order to facilitate the ongoing works for construction of the third railway line between Gorakhpur Cant. - Gorakhpur railway stations, a pair of train service running via Coimbatore will be fully cancelled.

Accordingly, Train No.12511 Gorakhpur - Thiruvananthapuram North, via Salem, Erode. Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Tri-weekly Express, scheduled to leave Gorakhpur on 27 April & 01, 02 & 04 May, 2025 (4 services) has been fully cancelled.

The returning Thiruvananthapuram North - Gorakhpur Train (no.12512) via Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Tri-weekly Express, scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram North on 30 April & 04, 06 & 07 May, 2025 (4 services) has been fully cancelled.

On the other hand, Coimbatore to Nagercoil Express will witness short termination on 26 & 29 April, 2025 to facilitate engineering maintenance works being carried out at Dindigul - Madurai sector.

Accordingly, Train No.16322 Coimbatore - Nagercoil via Tiruppur, Erode, Karur Express, scheduled to leave Coimbatore Jn at 08.00 hrs, will run only upto Dindigul Jn on 26 & 29 April, 2025. It will halt at Dindigul and won't take passengers to Nagercoil Jn during these days.
