An Elastomer Seal Test Facility from US-based global technology company SLB was inaugurated at the Department of Nanoscience and Technology of Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College (SREC), Coimbatore on Friday by Veerabathraswamy Kandasamy, CMI Center Manager, SLB in the presence of R. Sundar, Joint Managing Trustee, SNR Sons Charitable Trust. 


A press release from the college said that the purpose of this facility is to evaluate the aging properties of elastomer seals through joint collaborative expertise.

N. R. Alamelu, Principal, Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Arulmani Ramasamy, Principal Welding Engineer and Kiruthika Thamburaj, Technology Manager – V&M, SLB were present at the occasion.
