Governor Ravi is holding a separate Vice Chancellors' Conference in Ooty on June 5 to discuss National Education Policy 2020. 

In order to hold this separate VC's conference and to take part in few events, Governor R.N.Ravi will be visiting Ooty tomorrow (3.6.23) and he will stay at the Queen of Hills till June 9, as a part of his 7-day official visit. 

He will depart from Chennai tomorrow and reach Coimbatore via flight, and from here he will head to Ooty by road. There he will stay at the Raj Bhavan, located within the Govt.Botanical Garden premises and also attend few scheduled programs.

Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu Higher Education Minister K.Ponmudy on Wednesday (31.5.23) said “Universities in Tamil Nadu will function as per the State Education Policy (SEP) and once the policy document is out, I believe all vice-chancellors will cooperate in implementing it.”
