The 31st Annual Day of Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College was recently celebrated in the college auditorium with great enthusiasm.

Principal A. Soundarrajan welcomed the gathering, followed by a brief presentation of the Annual Report for the academic year. The Managing Trustee of SNR Sons Charitable Trust, R. Sundar, presided over the function.

Sathya Prakash, a renowned playback singer, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his address, he emphasized the lasting impact of the college experience, sharing personal insights on how it helped him develop self-confidence, professionalism, and strong communication skills — qualities that have been instrumental in his music career and personal growth.

He encouraged students to actively participate in various activities that foster character development and urged them to maintain an open mind, ready to embrace new opportunities.

During the event, M. Gokulnathan of the final year B.E. Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and K. S. Nandhanaa of the final year B.E. Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, were awarded gold medals and the Rolling Trophy for being the Best Outgoing Boy and Girl Students for the academic year 2024–2025. Meritorious students from various disciplines were also recognized with awards.

Students who excelled in innovation and fine arts were honoured with the Aasiriyar Balakrishnan Award for Research and Innovation (ABARAM) and the Kowsalya Nivas Award, instituted by the alumni. GATE rank holders for the year were also felicitated.

The management recognized faculty and staff members who have completed 25 years of dedicated service to the college. Faculty members were also lauded for their academic achievements, including outstanding research publications, innovative patent grants, and exemplary Ph.D. supervision.

Student endowment scholarships were awarded to deserving meritorious students through endowments established by the alumni.
 At the occasion, the college magazine, Pinnacle 2025, was released.
