Southern Railways announced on Monday that a pair of train service connecting Podanur  and Mettupalayam will undergo changes on June18th (Wednesday) in order to facilitate the ongoing track maintenance engineering works at Podanur Railway Yard.

Accordingly, Train No.66615 Mettupalayam - Podanur MEMU, scheduled to leave Mettupalayam at 1.05 p.m., will be Short Terminated at Coimbatore Jn on 18 June, 2025. The train will run from Mettupalayam to Coimbatore Jn only; it will not run from Coimbatore Jn to Podanur Jn on that day.

The returning train Podanur - Mettupalayam MEMU (66616),  scheduled to leave from Podanur Jn at 3.30 p.m., will instead leave from Coimbatore Jn at 3.45 p.m. on 18 June, 2025. The train will not run from Podanur Jn to Coimbatore Jn; it will leave from Coimbatore Jn and run up to Mettupalayam on that day.
