Speaking at the event, Venkatesh Pakkala, Chief Operating Officer of Renaatus Procon, said that after the success of the Renacon range of AAC Blocks (an alternative to traditional clay bricks) and other products, the company is moving forward into a new line of business with a product called Fibre Cement Board.
The company describes it as a versatile and durable solution for modern construction and is optimistic that this product will replace plywood, gypsum boards, and calcium silicate boards due to its attributes. The market size of this product stands at Rs.1,400 crore in India now and is expected to reach Rs.4,000 to Rs.5,000 crore by 2030.
Betting big on Fibre Cement Board, Renaatus is investing Rs.250 to 300 crore in it, and is building a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Andhra Pradesh. In the first phase, it will cover Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana; in the second phase, it will expand to Mumbai and Gujarat.
Talking about AAC Blocks, Mr. Pakkala said that the Indian market size for this product is poised to increase to Rs.10,000 crore from Rs.4,000 crore by 2030. In addition to its AAC block manufacturing plants in Ranipet, Tirunelveli, and Perundurai, Renaatus Procon will invest Rs.300 to Rs.350 crore to set up three manufacturing sites in different parts of India.
To further support its growth, the company is expanding its dealer and distribution network across India. By 2028, it aims to establish a stronger supply chain, ensuring the seamless availability of its products nationwide. Through these bold initiatives and its existing portfolio, the company is looking to increase its revenue from Rs.350 crore to Rs.1,000 crore by 2030.
