Sri Ramakrishna Hospital celebrated International Nurses Day to mark the endless service of nurses and to commemorate the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale.

The event was inaugurated by Saramma Samuel, Secretary, RVS Institutions in the presence of Dr. J. Karpagam, Chief Nursing Officer of Sri Ramakrishna Hospital.

Joint Managing Trustee of SNR Sons Charitable Trust, R. Sundar, presided. 

The hospital's staff, nurses, and management officials took part in the celebration and shared their appreciation for the tireless efforts of nurses in providing compassionate care to patients. 

A press release stated that the hospital management also spoke about the importance of nurses in the medical field, highlighting their contributions to healthcare and the role they play in supporting patients and their families. 

Nurses were commended for their ability to provide emotional support to patients, along with their medical care, and for being the backbone of any healthcare facility.

The hospital expressed their gratitude to all nurses, acknowledging their sacrifice and dedication, and thanked them for their immeasurable and endless contribution to the medical field. 

Ceremonial balloons were released during the occasion.
