Sri Sachidananda Tirtha Maha Swamigal, the head of the Sri Chakra Maha Meru Peedam located in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, will be arriving in Coimbatore on July 9 and over the next months, he will observe special vows of penance in Ram Temple, Ram Nagar, Coimbatore.

A press conference in this regard was held on Saturday (5.7.25), and it was addressed by N.V.Nagasubramaniam, Chairman, Sri Kodhanda Ramar Kovil Devasdhanam. He said that as a part of this year’s Chaturmasya Vratha Mahotsavam, the Swamigal will reside for 2 months at the Sri Kodanda Ramar Temple in Ramnagar, Coimbatore.

He will commence the vratha with Vyasa Pooja. During the following two months (from July 10 to September 7), a series of spiritual events including special poojas, discourses, besides Carnatic music concerts by accomplished musicians will be held.

The Temple committee is planning to give a grand welcome to mark his arrival in Coimbatore. A Poorana Kumbam Welcome will be given on July 9th. Moreover, daily poojas will be conducted by Swamigal himself during morning and evening hours throughout the stay, and devotees can witness and take part in it.

It is considered a great blessing to be a part of these devotional activities. All devotees and followers of the Hindu faith are invited to make use of this spiritually uplifting opportunity.

Hundreds of people are expected to take part in the Poojas and close to 500 people are expected to take part in the devotional concerts. Those interested in supporting the Chaturmasya Vratha may contribute groceries, fruits, vegetables, flowers, and pooja items.
