TNAU organizes Industry-Academia Workshop

School of Finishing and Grooming, Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute, TNAU, Coimbatore in collaboration with First Job Human Capital organized an Industry Academia Workshop on ‘Creating a Future Ready Workforce Through Stakeholder Collaboration’ for the final year B.Tech. (Food Technology) students recently.
M.Balakrishnan, Professor and Head, Department of Food Process Engineering, welcomed the gathering and highlighted a comprehensive overview of the B.Tech. (Food Technology) degree program.
A. Raviraj, Dean, Agricultural Engineering, emphasized the importance of bridging academia with industry in his presidential address. Murali Kasinath from First Job Human Capital provided valuable insights on building a collaborative framework and focused on the importance of fostering partnerships between industry and academia.
T.V. Surya Narayanan from SP Retail Ventures Ltd., addressed the gathering with his inspiring message, "Earning is within the learning." Pon Annadurai, HR Leader, enriched his speech by sharing real-life examples and conducting on-the-spot demonstrations that made his message relatable and impactful.
G. Nagarajan, from Hunter Douglas, emphasized key strategies for success in interviews. The Q&A session witnessed active participation from the students. A total of 60 students benefited from the workshop, and certificates were presented to all the participants. S. Parveen, Placement Coordinator (B.Tech. Food Technology) expressed his gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the event.
