2 students of CS Academy Coimbatore recognized as World Toppers in Cambridge Mathematics Exams!

Shivi Vikram, a student of CS Academy, Coimbatore - a reputed international school, has been recognized as the World Topper in the 2023-24 Cambridge International AS Level Mathematics Examination while another student of the institution Pranav Ilango, has also been recognized as a world topper in IGCSE Mathematics Examination.
CS Academy organized a felicitation ceremony on Friday at its Sowripalayam Campus and congratulated both the students for this Himalayan achievement. The institution also recognized the phenomenal contribution of the teachers of Maths Department in shaping these students to attain ranks that students from across the globe aim for.
A special recognition was given to Maths teachers Dasari Chaitanya and Mohana Priya for their outstanding mentorship and guidance that played a significant role in the success of the students.
Shivi is one of the only 5 students in India and Pranav is just one of the 30 in India to be a part of this World-Toppers list. Dr. Vikram Ramakrishnan, Director of the Academy honored the students and the teachers in the presence of Sony Thomas, Head of the School and Shanthapriya, Principal. A press conference was held post the felicitation.
Speaking at the event, Dr.Vikram Ramakrishnan said that when they started offering International Syllabus in 2015, they had a clear vision that the education they give their students should be on par with what the best schools in London offer.
The students of the Academy have received World Topper recognition for 4 consecutive years in Maths. "This achievement by the students is a testament to the quality of the program we run here," he said.
For the students, their competition is not with just Indian schools but with global institutions, i.e. 150+ schools around the world. So when the students of CS Academy receive such global recognition, that is an encouragement for us, says Dr.Vikram.
When asked how it becomes possible for the school's students to crack Cambridge Maths exams, Mr.Chaitanya, the Maths Teacher said that the key is to make students develop love and passion towards the subject; do that and they students will themselves take up the subject with interest and dedication.
It is noteworthy to mention that Shivi Vikram has a seat waiting for her at New York University. Pranav who is in IGCSE board also has bright opportunities to pursue higher studies in top universities in abroad.
