Sri Ramakrishna Hospital celebrates International Nurses Week 2025

Celebrating International Nurses Week 2025, Sri Ramakrishna Hospital, Coimbatore organized a Walkathon on Friday from Thomas Park to Sarathambal Temple around race course to highlight the service of nurses, in healthcare system.
District Collector Pavan Kumar IAS took part in the event as Chief Guest and flagged off the walkathon along with R.Sundar, Managing Trustee, SNR Sons Charitable Trust. The event had enthusiastic participation from nurses, healthcare professionals, and public. A few awareness creation programs through street play and art were also held.
Speaking at the event, R.Sundar, Managing Trustee, SNR Sons Charitable Trust said nurses act as a valuable support system to doctors and hospitals in every occasion. The dedication and affection nurses across the world show towards patient deserves all our appreciation on this day. He added that at this crucial week, we should acknowledge, appreciate and honor their invaluable services that's rendered during calamities.
District Collector Pavankumar IAS, said that the role of nurses in making patients trust an healthcare services provider is as important as the advancements available in them. He appreciated the nurses and wished them to continue their services with the same dedication and compassion.
Other dignitaries who participated in the event include C.V. Ramkumar, CEO, SNR Sons Charitable Trust; D. Maheshkumar, Chief Administrative Officer; Dr. S. Rajagopal, Medical Director and Dr. Alagappan, Medical Superintendent , Sri Ramakrishna Hospital took part in the event.
