Founder of Isha Yoga Centre and Isha Foundation, 'Sadhguru' Jaggi Vasudev completed his 17-day motorbike pilgrimage to Mount Kailash and returned to Coimbatore on Friday.

This was his first major journey after two brain surgeries. His followers gathered in huge numbers at the Coimbatore International Airport and welcomed him.

Speaking to the press and media, Sadhguru said that he had undergone two surgeries and the doctors advised him not to ride bikes. He said he made this trip to also prove the power of yoga to the world. He added that he made the entire trip without any difficulty.

When he was asked about his opinion on the US-tariff hike on India, he said that there will be an impact but we as Indians have to stand up and do what needs to be done for India's development. This is the time for India to show its strength.

To a question that's subtly about TVK Vijay's entry into politics and how he sees movie stars entering politics, he said Tamil Nadu's political space has always had a relationship with Cinema. 

Puratchi Thalaivar MGR and Amma J. Jayalalithaa, two of the most revered politicians were from movie industry. Vijay's entry too is like that. It is with the people, and they will select whoever they feel should win. It is upto the people's choice, he said.
