The College of Nursing under Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Paramedical Sciences (SRIPMS) run by SNR Sons Charitable Trust observed World Suicide Prevention Day on Wednesday.

As a part of the event, a Pledge Taking Ceremony to raise awareness about suicide prevention and promote mental well-being among students was held. Dr. S. Rajagopal, Dean and Medical Director; Dr. S. Alagappan, Medical Superintendent of Sri Ramakrishna Hospital, Coimbatore took part in the program as the special guests.

More than 400 students actively took the pledge. Dr. S. Girijakumari, Principal of the College and other faculty members were also present at the occasion.
