Indian Vice President, C. P. Radhakrishnan, is scheduled to participate in various events in Coimbatore tomorrow (October 28, 2025). This visit marks Radhakrishnan's first to the city after assuming the office of Vice President, and he is set to receive a rousing welcome from BJP party members at the Coimbatore Airport.

Following the airport reception, he will attend a felicitation event organized by the Coimbatore Citizen Forum at the CODISSIA Complex. Later, the VP will pay his respects to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi located at the Corporation office in the Town Hall area. Post that, he will participate in an event held at the Perur Aadheenam Math premises.

Security arrangements in the Coimbatore district have been intensified in view of the Vice President's visit. Furthermore, for security reasons, areas including CODISSIA, Redfields, Town Hall, Perur, and Marudamalai have been declared as Red Zones from October 27 to October 29, and the operation of drones has been banned, according to a statement released by District Collector Pavan Kumar. Following the events in Coimbatore, Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan will proceed to Tiruppur.

The District Administration has also stated that appropriate legal action will be taken against anyone found flying a drone in violation of this announcement.
