The Deparment of Microbiology, Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts & Science for Women, (SRCW) organized a hackathon for School Students on Thursday.

Called, Sustainable Spark, this hackathon was about making students come up with innovative ideas in the field of sustainability with inspirations from UN- Sustainable Development Goals.The event had participation from 100+ students from various schools, and they presented their models and ideas.

K. Chitra, Principal of the college presided over the event. Leninbarathi, Mentor, Innovation Hub -Regional Science Centre, Coimbatore, and Dr. S. Jagannathan, Research Officer, Pasteur Institute of India, Coonoor, evaluated the models.Noor Sait Matriculation Higher Secondary School secured first place in the hackathon.
