Coimbatore Super Smashers, the city's first professional pickleball team organized the first edition of Coimbatore Pickleball Open tournament, a PWR 200 sport event that attracted 300+ talents across India. The tournament saw players competing in 10 different categories for two-days with great zeal and enthusiasm.

R. Sundar, Managing Trustee of Sri Ramakrishna Hospital, and Joint Managing Trustee R. Narendran graced the occasion as Chief Guest and special guest, respectively. All winners and runners-up received medals and cash prizes, recognizing their outstanding achievements in the sport. The event was successfully organized by Arjun Narendran and Rithika Ramakrishna.

This landmark event marked a significant milestone for Pickleball in Coimbatore, fostering a sense of community and competition among players from across India. Coimbatore Super Smashers continues to lead in promoting new sports to all people and keeping the community's health in good condition. 

It is important to mention that Coimbatore Super Smashers will soon participate as one of the franchises in a premium pickleball league tournament later this year in Mumbai.
