Three students from Ology Tech School, Coimbatore, Adrith T.B, Harshithaa S.B, and Tanvi V of Grade 8, have been crowned winners of the prestigious HCL Jigsaw 6.0 Challenge, earning the title of India’s Top Young Problem Solvers.

The national competition witnessed participation from over 3.5 lakh students representing 1,400 schools across 28 states and 2 union territories. Conducted in three rounds, the challenge tested young minds on real-world problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity. From tackling plastic alternatives in packaging to addressing e-commerce hygiene and legal case backlogs, the students were encouraged to design innovative, practical solutions.

The Coimbatore team impressed the jury in the Grade 8 category with their solution for resolving legal cases efficiently. Winners were selected after a rigorous grand finale where students presented their research-driven ideas to an expert panel.

In its sixth edition, HCL Jigsaw recognized 12 winners and 24 runner-ups, with a prize purse of ₹12 lakh distributed among them. Tamil Nadu recorded one of the highest state-wide participations this year.

The achievement highlights Coimbatore’s growing reputation for nurturing young innovators, aligning with HCL’s vision of building a future-ready generation of problem solvers.
