Sri Ramakrishna Hospital, a leading multispeciality healthcare provider, launched a massive Mega Free Heart Health Camp on Sunday at Pachapalayam to commemorate World Heart Day 2025. The initiative is aimed at making essential cardiac screening accessible to residents in the rural and semi-urban areas of Coimbatore.

The camp was officially inaugurated by the Chief Guest, T.R. Sivakumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Pachapalayam Range. He was joined by R. Sundar, Managing Trustee of SNR Sons Charitable Trust, which manages Sri Ramakrishna Hospital and Sri Ramakrishna Educational Institutions.

Addressing the gathering, T.R. Sivakumar commended the hospital for its dedication to community well-being. “It is truly commendable to see a facility of Sri Ramakrishna Hospital’s stature bring a specialized service like a heart health camp, completely free of cost, to this rural area of Coimbatore,” stated Mr. Sivakumar. “This proactive step underscores a deep commitment to preventive health and public service, setting a high standard for corporate social responsibility in the healthcare sector.”

In his address, R. Sundar reinforced the mission of the hospital's parent organization. “For decades, SNR Sons Charitable Trust has been recognized for delivering both state-of-the-art medical care and phenomenal charitable activities,” Mr. Sundar shared. “It is our pleasure and privilege to bring this essential check-up to Pachapalayam.
