The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Adithya Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, inaugurated its Mechanical Engineering Association – NIBU FEIER on Wednesday. 

The association aims to provide a platform for students to enhance their technical knowledge, leadership skills, and overall professional growth through seminars, workshops, competitions, and industrial interactions. 

The program was presided over by D. Somasundareswari, Principal, Adithya Institute of Technology. It had the presence of distinguished patrons, including C. Sukumaran, Chairman, S. Praveen Kumar and Srinidhi Praveen Kumar, Managing Trustees, and I. Rajendran, Dean–Academic. Joseph V. Thanikal, Director,  Adithya Group of Institutions.

Karthick, Assistant Manager – HR, Salzer Electronics Ltd., Coimbatore took part as the chief guest.  He highlighted the role of mechanical engineers in shaping the modern world and emphasized the need for continuous learning and innovation. He also inspired the gathering with his insights on industry expectations, skill development, and the importance of bridging the gap between academia and industry.
