Sri Ramakrishna Hospital, Coimbatore, received the “Award of Appreciation for Exemplary Performance in Organ Donation Awareness and Organ Pledges” at the Organ Day Donation Programme held at Kalaivanar Arangam, Chennai organized by TRANSTAN. This award, recognizes the hospital’s outstanding role in the deceased donor programme for 2024–25, was presented by Ma. Subramanian, Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Government of Tamil Nadu.

 

Coimbatore’s Sri Ramakrishna Hospital, has been honored for its exceptional contribution to organ donation at the Organ Day Donation Programme, organized by TRANSTAN, on September 23, 2025, at Kalaivanar Arangam, Walaja Road, Chennai. The event was held to felicitate donor families, transplant experts, coordinators, and hospitals that have played a vital role in advancing the cause of organ donation across the state.

 

In recognition of its outstanding efforts in the Deceased Donor Programme during 2024–25, Sri Ramakrishna Hospital received the prestigious “Award of Appreciation for Exemplary Performance in Organ Donation Awareness and Organ Pledges.” This honor reflects the hospital’s consistent commitment to creating awareness, encouraging pledges, and supporting the noble cause of organ donation.

 

The award was presented by Ma. Subramanian, Hon’ble Minister for Health and Family Welfare, in the presence of Senthil Kumar, IAS, Principal Secretary; and Dr. N. Gopalakrishnan TRANSTAN Member Secretary, Government of Tamil Nadu. The award was received on behalf of the hospital management by Dr.S. Prahadeeshwaran, Head-Public Relations; and D. Viswanath, Head-Information Technology, Sri Ramakrishna Hospital.
