TNAU plays host to 56th Annual Convention of Indian Society of Agricultural Engineers

Coimbatore-headquartered TNAU is plaging host to the 56th Annual Convention of Indian Society of Agricultural Engineers (ISAE) on "Agricultural Engineering Innovation for Global Food Security" International Symposium.
It is being held on the theme "India @ 2047: Agricultural Engineering Perspective" between November 09-11, 2022, and it is jointly organized by Indian Society of Agricultural Engineers, New Delhi and Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore.
The inauguration was held today (9.30 A.M.) at Anna Auditorium, TNAU, Coimbatore.
The conference was presided over by Himanshu Pathak, Ph.D., Director General (ICAR) & Secretary (DARE); C. Samayamoorthy, IAS APC and Secretary to Government of Tamil Nadu, Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare Department; and V. Geethalakshmi, Ph.D., Vice-Chancellor, TNAU, Coimbatore.
A press-meet is underway and it is headed by the dignitaries mentioned above.
